Staff slow to serve. Bar service slow in evenings.
Well located 5 minutes from Wandsworth Town railway station. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Well trained friendly staff. Well organised hotel. Inclusive if slightly limited breakfast. We wanted a hotel near Clapham Junction and due to the Chelsea flower show (In Battersea) we had some difficulties in getting rooms. We booked this hotel with some reservations but it had everything that we needed for a three night stay in London. In future, I'd have no hesitation in staying here.
It was not palatial but it is a budget hotel so I was not expecting anything fancy.
The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. I had a problem with a taxi and they went out of their way to solve the problem for me. Thank you to Lisa and the young man working with her.
The only hot options were sausage and scrambled egg but the rest of the breakfast was fine.
Convenient for the venue we were attanding.
At first I was disappointed that there was not restaurant at the Hotel however the arrangement of having local takeaway restaurants deliver worked better than expected. It was also a cheaper option and a greater variety. The breakfast was very good but I felt that having bacon apng with sausages as the hot choice would have been good.
Although the food delivery option worked quite well, I would have preferred am on site restaurant. A buffet would work well in this sort of hotel. The hot breakfast arrangement was ok but a bit slow when replenishment of food was needed.
Hotel was friendly and efficient. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Stayed for 3 nights
Nothing really other than more variation in the cooked breakfast - perhaps bacon instead of sausages with scrambled eggs. Limited car parking - £7.80 a night. Bedclothes had a slightly musty smell - window opened to improve this.
a) the friendly, polite service... for the room... clean linen and towels................. b) breakfast, although the toaster regularly burned the toast!.................. c) the hotel's surounding that offers the possibility to visit local shops, bistros and other services apart from the 'hipe' 'City'.............. d) good accessibility
- even a small built-in fridge would be very convenient :)
We are a family of six, two grandmothers, son, daughter and two grandchildren aged 5 and 8. We were in London for a family wedding and this was an ideal base. We really enjoyed our stay.
I liked its central position and the reasonable cost. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to be able to park the car easily.
Good location, nice spacious rooms and very comfortable beds plus very helpful and cheerful staff.
Rather disappointed in the quality and service regarding breakfast.
parking available and location
would like to have had some more choice at breakfast on the hot side, bacon etc.....
The setting is amazing, perfect for a stroll down the river! Also amazing flats surrounding it, feels very European. Hotel staff great & room great for price. Good breakfast too.
Everything was ok and uncomplecated. Thanks
Not much of a continental breakfest.
my choice of hotel was ideal. Close my point of business and the parking on site was much cheaper. Very lmpressed
The gymm facilities, breakfast and friendly staff
